Our name is CrossRoads.  Founder Rick Van Es settled on this name for a reason.  "CR" is the common abbreviation for Corporate Revitalization and Corporate Recovery.  You and your Lender will know when your company is at its crossroads. Your company needs two elements to heal itself:  Time and Expertise.  Lack of either one can cancels the other.  You can rely on CrossRoads to use its significant knowledge of operational problems and lender negotiations to create the necessary environment for both to succeed.  You can then discern if hold or sell is the next best option.  CrossRoads also serves to focus us on our target territory in the Midwest from Chicago to Cleveland to Indy to Grand Rapids.

Our history is the ideal merger of two companies, Van Es Consulting ("VEC") and Strategic Debt Initiatives ("SDI").  Each company's focus is perfectly complementary in the world we face today.  VEC was founded to act as a traditional business broker, operational turnaround service, and capital sourcing firm. SDI was founded to address the crisis in banking, credit and finance with the non-litigation approach to Borrower-Lender problems and capital sourcing.  Both seek to avoid attorney-driven solutions where the consensual approach makes sense.  Today, these historically different worlds are more closely aligned than ever.  Companies can't seek debt capital effectively, and Lenders don't have competitors to take out their problem loans.  VEC and SDI both recognized that these specialized skills needed to make a difference for your company are joint, not separate.  Owners going it alone take unnecessary risk.
